My mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 4 years ago something that has had a massive impact on the family. I cannot express how awful Parkinson's disease is and with this in mind I will do anything to help find a cure.

My lovely brother Jason has kindly nominated me to do the great north run with him!!! I actually can't think of anything worse than running however knowing that any money raised will be going to help find a cure then I'm sure it'll be worth it. I'm not promising I will run all the route (not being a runner) but I will give 100% knowing I could make a difference.
