Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My eldest son, Silas, uses the services this incredible charity provides.

Silas, who's now 8 years old, has been diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, scoliosis, epilepsy and global development delay. Translated, this means he has to use a wheelchair, he cannot stand or sit up unaided and sadly, he hasn't learnt to speak yet (he may never be able to but we are ever hopeful). Silas has complex needs and requires 24/7 care but still has all the energy of an able bodied eight year old child.

Let's Play Project, are a small, local charity that provide fantastic support for us as a family, Silas really enjoys attending the variety of stimulating and entertaining sessions Let's Play Project provides.

I am very grateful for everything Let's Play Project do and want to be able to give something back to this great charity.

Will you sponsor me, please?

I'm no athlete and to be honest, I don't even like swimming and can't tread water.....but I'm willing to throw myself into (quite literally) this event and try to raise some money, so this charity can continue to support us and many other families in the Banbury area.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this.
