A Thought for Dementia - a challenge to run or walk 100 kilometres between 26th December 2021 and 31st January 2022, in aid of Dementia UK. Im challenging myself to join the team and be part of something special. The challenge is open to anyone and its the perfect opportunity to offset your Christmas dinner by getting out in the fresh air, doing something positive and healthy, walking with the children and dogs and making a real difference to a very worthwhile cause. Dementia UK, provide specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them.
