Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of you know cancer has had a big impact on my life over the last few years. My Mom lost her battle with Lung Cancer on 12th Feb and it has been a difficult few weeks since her passing. This has really affected my training for the London Marathon, and it is going to be difficult, but Mom would have wanted me to still run it, so I'm determined to complete it. In addition to London I will also be running in the Snowdonia Trail Marathon and Birmingham Marathon later in the year.
I will also be thinking of my family and friends who are still fighting this horrible disease and those that have passed:
My Dad is currently undergoing chemo due to cancer returning after 5 years and it is now in his liver and lymph.
My father in law is also undergoing treatment after cancer spread from his bladder.
Young Josh just 3yrs old is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia.
The list of people I know and love affected by cancer goes on and we need to raise as much money and awareness as possible to fight this horrible disease.
Research and prevention is the key to beating cancer which is why I want to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research.
