Violet Stephens Cardiac Surgery fund

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 14th October we will be laying a beautiful brave warrior princess to sleep and celebrating her short happy life. Please donate to this fund that will hopefully grow to enable lots of other babies and children's lives to be saved through funding developments in heart surgery.
Your donation will go towards the Cardiac Surgery fund at Alder Hey hospital. The surgeons there, especially one genius superstar Mr Prem, saved Violet at just 4 days old when she underwent pioneering heart surgery to widen her aorta and this enabled us to enjoy 15 wonderful months with her.
If it wasn't for the surgeons skill at Alder Hey then we would never have had any time to get to know and enjoy our amazingly kind, clever, beautiful and brave little girl. She touched the hearts of everyone she met on both sides of the world and was loved by many. Even though we only had just over a year with her we learnt so much about strength, bravery and humour in the face of adversity. She always had a smile on her face and rarely cried, preferring to give a disapproving look instead. Wise beyond her years, she loved classical music in particular Katherine Jenkins and adored animals, she now has sponsored elephants at Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari Park. Look out for her 'Jingle Jangle' when you visit!
We feel she could have really given a lot to society and the wider world around her so please help us to build a legacy in her name.
Please donate generously to allow other parents to experience the joy and happiness we did. Please allow others to get to know their babies and give these babies a chance to survive to also change our world for the better.
Thank you for your generosity, lots of love
