Thanks for visiting!
We've set up this page in response to several enquiries about the best way to contribute to the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) work that Joanne is leading for the Diocese of Niassa in Mozambique.
All funds raised through this page will go into an 'unrestricted' fund for WASH and will enable us to expand our work and be more flexible when opportunities arise.
This might include being able to send local staff on training courses, fixing pumps or wells that need attention and were not budgeted for, the extra materials for when we start digging and discover that a well needs to be 15 metres deep not 9m as planned, responding to a community who of their own efforts would like some hygiene training and so on. One big expense that we would love to cover is a water quality testing kit to enable us to verify the quality of water in the wells that we dig and to conduct tests in communities where there appear to be problems. These cost around £1000.
MANNA have kindly agreed to manage these donations for us to enable us to have this easy online method of donating. It also means that we can easily track all of the spending from this account and report back to you, the donors, on how the money was spent.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
