Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  We are very grateful for any donations.  If you are applying to walk with us, a donation of £10 per walker is suggested.  Any further donations or donations from non walkers are very welcome too!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Our event is in aid of the Charlie Watkins Foundation, which was set up to support charities and initiatives whose primary focus is to assist young people with mental health issues.

A group of friends, wishing to support Harry Watkins with his charity in memory of his twin brother, decided to organise a 6 mile walk through the beautiful Suffolk countryside where Charlie and Harry grew up. We hope that families and all generations would like to take part. The Crown have kindly given permission for their premises to be used as a meeting point and for refreshments afterwards.

We aim to raise awareness by talking about mental health issues, particularly in young people, and hope to start to stop the stigma surrounding this topic.
