Torture tries to destroy lives. We won't let it. We stand with survivors, providing therapy and support, and fighting for change together.

Since working in a north London secondary school in the 1990s, where about a third of our students were refugees or asylum seekers, I have supported refugee causes. You will see this reflected in the planned monthly posts. I have volunteered and worked with Freedom from Torture since then on a number of projects. Just before I left London, 3 years ago, I connected with the FFT’s writing group, the Write to Life group. The work of this group is therapeutic, creative and campaigning.

Your contribution will support the work of Freedom from Torture.
