SKT Welfare is a UK registered charity and international NGO established in 2008, dedicated to the delivery of humanitarian aid and socioeconomic solutions regardless of race, political affiliation, gender or belief. The organisation’s aim is to help relieve the suffering of the world’s poor and disenfranchised communities.SKT’s 100% donation policy means that every penny you donate is used for serving those in need, not administrative nor overhead costs, which are either covered by direct donations themselves or by usingGift Aid.

Gaza is in a water crisis. Currently 1.7 million Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip are facing a growing water shortage. 90% of Gaza’s main water supply has been contaminated and become unfit for human consumption. Water is a crucial & vital part of a healthy and happy life. We all live our daily lives with access to clean water sources at just an arms reach away. While places such as Gaza are still struggling to use suitable water for drinking and agriculture.

In order to help change to this, I will be joining SKT Welfare on the Palestine Marathon 2019, in hopes that I can raise awareness to this crisis and bring a positive change even during these difficult times of conflict.

Race day is 22.03.2019. So looking forward to both a trip of a lifetime, meeting people I would not normally get chance to but as important, raising some funds for what you can't argue, whatever your beliefs, is a more than worthy cause, giving people a chance to live. And the trip is self funded by myself so every penny, pound, pounds or notes will go to the charity.

And if I smash my target (and I mean smash it) I will do the full marathon as opposed to the half. UPDATE - I AM GOING TO DO THE FULL MARATHON!!!! ITS A WORTHY CAUSE.
