Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As time goes on events in life touch you in different ways, and quite often we are too busy to fully realise the impact these have on people.

2014 has been a time to reflect on such events and the advent of 3 friends suffering from Cancer, one of which finally lost their fight at the end of last year, closer to home Rob losing his father to Leukemia last October, Rob remembers the Macmillan nurses being of great support and comfort to Dad and all the family, we felt it was time to do something for all & our past loved ones.

So with this in mind, the three of us  have decided to give some time, and a little energy! to raise the profile and some funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We three are to cycle,  starting with the 500K London to Paris ride at the end of June. This will be followed by other chosen events in the UK cycling sportive calendar throughout this year. Our aim is to have some fun and ride in the memory of our friends, colleagues and family, we have an ambitious target of £15,000.

So please help us, get some friends together and help raise a few 'bob' for those marvelous people who are there at our most difficult time's.

Botty, MG & Rob.
