Hi, on 31 May I'm setting off from home near Bristol to ride to Paris. I'm riding self supported from home and then joining others in London to carry onto Paris.

I've ridden some long rides before but this time I only have 7 days and the daily mileage is way more than I'm used to. It's going to be a tough challenge and there are no chances for rest days. The day from London to Calais is going to be 90 miles, and the whole ride is going to be just over 500 miles (800 km).

I work for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and so I know any money you can donate will be put to great use. I'm funding all of my expenses, travel, food, bike repairs: the lot. This means everything donated will go to the charity (other than JustGiving's donation processing fees which are around 2%).
