In memory of Professor Norman Palmer

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page raising money for the MND Association, by sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

Almost two years ago, some very good friends of mine, Professor Norman Palmer and his family, received the devastating news that he had been diagnosed  with MND.

In October 2016, Norman lost his brave and courageous  fight against this cruel and debilitating disease.

During this time, it became painfully apparent that there is  nowhere near enough help, support or awareness for all those who suffer as a result of this hideous disease.

Our Welsh Base Camp Challenge over three days, 8th 9th 10th June 2017.
Cycle coast to coast, North to South Wales, climbing the three Welsh Peaks:
Snowden, Cadair Idris, and Pen y Fan.
Total 183 miles. 19,685 feet of climbing - more than Everest Base Camp!
