Story

Wendy Pradhan started her training as a state registered nurse in 1975 at Neath General Hospital in South Wales.  She finished her nursing career as a Specialist Respiratory Nurse at her beloved Neath Gen, but always identified with the role as a 'calling', right up until she passed away on Wednesday 7th October 2020.

Wendy adored being a nurse, she had an immensely caring nature and a massive heart that her patients and colleagues alike benefited from. She had a positive impact on everyone she came into contact with. Nothing was too much for her to deal with and her dedication to health care for all was fierce.  Wendy was immensely proud to serve her community and the NHS. By setting up this Just Giving  page, in her honour, she can continue to serve with your help.

The money raised through this appeal will go directly to the Swansea Bay Health Charity's Helping Hand Fund. The monies you give will not replace statutory funding - the money raised through this appeal will be used to fund ADDITIONAL items that go over and above what the NHS is providing.Local NHS professionals who understand what is most needed for our local communities, and are aware of what the NHS is already doing will decide how the money raised will be used to best benefit the service and our most vulnerable patients.
