Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  On 8 September I’ll be joining a small, perfectly formed team (and 50,000 others) at the start line of the Great North Run with the aim of getting to the finish line in one piece, having a bit of fun and raising much needed funds for The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Charity.

The mission of charity is to raise income and manage funds to improve patient care either directly with patients or indirectly via staff. The charity does this by enhancing the services provided by the Trust and funding additional items of expenditure, which would not otherwise be funded by the NHS.

Some of the items of expenditure can be small, others can be large.  The charity has funded numerous purchases which have recently included chemotherapy treatment equipment, furniture for people living with dementia and residential trips for children and families affected by burns.
