Dear Freinds and Colleagues,

On 1st May I will be setting off to walk nearly 200miles across England following Wainwrights famous coast to coast route,I plan to finish on 12th May.

I have been meaning  do this for some time but have decided to do it now in memory of the only son of my dearest friends Clive and Denny who lost him in Afganistan in June 2006,Paul was a Royal Marine ,and a fine man .

Sadly we hear of these losses all too frequently. Every step of this walk will be in Pauls memory and in honour of all those men and women in the armed forces  who place themsleves in harms way for our sake.

Anything you can spare will go to this worthy cause.
