We manage donations from the games industry to support more UK children's charities

Story

Please note the raffle is now closed! Donations are still accepted, but no longer count for the draw.  Congratulations to Ryan Hobbs for winning, and many thanks to all who've donated - it's massively exceeded my expectations!

This is a charity raffle to win a copy of the new Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Player's Handbook, autographed by members of the design team. Signatures include lead designer Jeremy Crawford, Mike Mearls, Greg Bilsland and "DM to the Stars" Chris Perkins. The book was awarded as a prize for winning the EN World D&D Next Adventure Contest.

All donations raised will go to Games Aid: a UK charity that supports smaller charities that help disadvantaged and disabled youngsters.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The book is unused and in completely mint condition. I will personally pay for delivery anywhere in Europe or the US - if you live elsewhere, you may have to contribute towards postal expenses!

To buy a virtual ticket, please make a donation of £2.50 to this page! For each £2.50 you donate, one ticket with your name on will be added to the grand prize draw. For every £10 you donate, I'll add a bonus ticket for free!  If donating from the UK, please untick Gift Aid as it cannot be claimed on prize-winning fundraisers (this won't invalidate your donation - but be aware Gift Aid won't be added). The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday February 28th and announced here and on my blog: http://beholderpie.blogspot.co.uk

If donating from outside the UK, Justgiving allows you to donate in eight common currencies. You may wish to use a currency converter to ensure your donation matches the ticket prices in GBP, e.g. http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/. For those of you in the States, £2.50 is currently roughly $3.80.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DONATING:

When you are asked to confirm whether you'd like to add Gift Aid, please UNTICK the box that says "Yes, add Gift Aid". Gift Aid is a UK tax incentive that enables tax-effective giving to charities in the UK, but it should not be claimed on donations made in return for tickets or prize-winning chances.

Once your donation has gone through, when you see this: "I'm happy to be contacted by" please tick the box next to my name. JustGiving can then share your contact details with me so I can arrange delivery should you win. I will not share your email address with anyone!

If you wish to make a donation, but ARE NOT interested in entering the raffle, please donate anonymously or let me know in the comments. All donations received are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your help, and good luck in the draw! May your dice always land fortuitously!
