Story

A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Lockdown is our way of ensuring an outdoor performance of sorts goes ahead this summer, even though we’ve had to film it for you to see. We aren’t selling tickets but please show your appreciation by making a donation to the Intensive Care Society...

Donate today to support your Intensive Care heroes! The emergence of Covid-19 as a global pandemic is impacting all of us in an unprecedented manner - and the Intensive Care team is critical in this unpredictable time ahead. Now more than ever, we all need to come together. As the disease burden of Covid-19 intensifies, so will the strain on the Intensive Care team. We are the safety net of the hospital - we care for the sickest patients by providing vital organ support and do our utmost best to get them through the disease progression.

Most patients who contract Covid-19 will have mild symptoms but we now know that up to 11% will end up on intensive care and may die.To help our Intensive Care heroes who at the frontline of this disease, we at the Intensive Care Society have got their back.Covid-19 is a priority to all in Critical Care. As the only multi-professional Critical Care charity in the UK, we are best placed to address the needs of our heroes.
