For the past few years Miranda Rocksmith has organised a fundraiser at Workshop for the Nightshelter. In the past this has resulted in a gift of Everyman Cinema tickets but in 2020, with the cinemas closed, it was changed to a donation towards takeaway meals, which has the added benefit of giving the kitchen volunteers a night off!

The Winchester Beacon (formerly known as Winchester Churches Nightshelter) has been helping people experiencing homelessness in Hampshire for over 30 years. As well as being a safe place to stay, the charity provides personalised one-to-one support to residents to help them rebuild their lives and escape homelessness for good.
