Story
Over Christmas, our son Arran (age 5) and a pupil at Tattenhall Park Primary School, contracted Meningitis and Sepsis. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Alder Hey Hospital and after the fantastic care he received by teams throughout the hospital he was well enough to come home again. He is now well and back at school, in large part due to the the fantastic people and facilities at Alder Hey. Arran is not the only local child that has benefitted from the facilities at Alder Hey and much of the cutting edge research and treatment is funded through charitable donation. To show your appreciation and support please come along to the Fun Run or give a little money if you can.
Without this kind of support their will be fewer smiley children in the North West.
