I have been selected to take part in the Hijra Ride cycling from Mecca to Medina - 300 miles - to raise much needed funds for this amazing cause.

The Hijrah Ride has a proud tradition of saving children suffering from congenital heart defects in Africa. We aim to provide free and quality treatment (interventions and heart operations) to children from underprivileged backgrounds by bringing world-class paediatric cardiac surgeons and other medical staff to these children.During the first two editions of Hijrah Ride (Also known as Hijrah Ride 1443 and Hijrah Ride 1444), we provided treatment to over 150 children for various congenital heart defects in Egypt, Kenya and Tanzania. The third edition of Hijrah Ride ( Hijrah Ride 1445) is again proudly sponsoring children in Tanzania and Kenya.
