Forge Fight Against Cancer-Macmillan

Forge Fight Against Cancer · 21 November 2017
This New Years Day at Ye Olde Forge Valley Inn, we are having a fight against cancer and were doing it in 3 ways.
1 - Our chef Lucy Taylor is shaving her head to raise money for St Catherine's Hospice and would like to donate her hair to The Little Princess Trust which provides real hair wigs free to children who have sadly lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
2 - Lee Hollinshead has been growing his Blue beard for Movember, raising money for men's cancer. Normally this would be shaved off at the end of the month but he's going to keep it up until New Years Day to raise more money.
3 - The annual Tug of War between East and West Ayton. This will take place in the morning followed by a free buffet and entertainment from Trip Hazard raising funds for Macmillan in memory of Mick Hanmer an old landlord who sadly passed away in 2014.
Help us raise as much money as we can in the fight against cancer, sadly there is not a person out there that this horrible disease hasn't affected one way or another.
We have 3 separate Just Giving Pages, one for each charity, giving you the choice.
Thank you in advance for your support.
