Thanks for taking the time to visit my 1st Attempt to Great Birmingham Run JustGiving page.

Being a father of two lovely energetic young boys, I am in a constant demand of physical fitness. Hoping to be able to play football with them in their teenage, I started jogging / running a few months ago. I soon discovered the joy of it and more importantly the inspiration and role model I become of my children. Now it’s time to raise the bar and challenge myself with the Great Birmingham Run.

Barnardo’s is UK’s leading children charity, believes in children no matter who they are. Over its more than 140 years' history, Barnardo’s has been doing some most fantastic work in supporting the abused, the vulnerable, the forgotten and neglected children in turning their lives around.

What difference will the donation make? 

£15 could pay for a "survival kit" of basic essentials such as shampoo, toothpaste and soap for an abused girl who has fled her home with nothing.

£45 could pay for three one-to-one homework support sessions for a young carer.

£84 could pay for training equipment for three young people living in poverty to attend a vocational course.

£240 could pay for a year’s worth of support group sessions for 4 young people whose parents misuse drugs and alcohol
