Last year we sadly had to say goodbye to a very dear friend and colleague who enriched every life she touched from family, friends, work mates and her patients.Yve believed in so many people when often they didn't even believe in themselves and enabled them to achieve so many things. I have so much to thank you for Yvonne.

One sunny day sat outside the famous camper van, looking out across the turquise blue sea enjoying precious time with friends and family Yve spoke to us all and urged us to make the most of every minute in life and live life to the fullest. As I drove away that day which was to be one of the last times I saw Yve, her words pricked my conscience and I reflected on my own life and vowed that I would heed Yve's wise words.

So as possibly the unfittest person in history I decided that day that I would get fit enough to walk/jog/crawl the Race for Life in Yve's memory this year and I'm hoping as many of Yve's friends and family will come and join me in our team 'Yvonne's Angels' and hopefully raise some much needed funds for Cancer Research in the process.
