Dad & Daughter 15,000 ft Sky Dive for Weston Hospice Care

10,000 ft Sky Dive · 30 September 2017
Dad and I are jumping a 15,000 ft tandem sky dive to raise money for Weston Hospicecare
My beautiful, brave Mum fought her battle with brain cancer for just under 1 year from diagnosis. She was admitted to the hospice on the 14th March 2017 following a big seizer at home and spending over 2 weeks back at the BRI. They are amazing, kind and brilliant at caring for people and families at such emotional, hard times in life. If it wasn't for this charity and the facilities they have and use I'm pretty sure Mum would have required a nursing home nearer the end as her body was slowly shutting down and she became very weak-At the age of 50 it would have been an awful decision for us to consider. The hospice provides all of its services free of charge and only receive 21 per cent of its £3.5million a year running costs from the NHS so they really do rely on the money we donate. Please spare any pennies you have to encourage us even more! To say we are nervous is an understatement but I will make sure Dad goes first! 😂 I will do mum Mum proud, she thought it was a great idea and even managed to donate! I'm so glad we spent her last moments together and let her know we'd all get by and eventually be ok again with her always by our sides!
Thank you to those that have donated and thank you SO MUCH to Weston Hospice for allowing myself and my sister, Abbey, to be Mums "daughters" again at the most precious of times. XxxxX
