I am going to run the Wilmslow half marathon for Meningitis trust...

This is for my close friend Louisa, of 26 years, and her little, adorable daughter who had menigitis aged 10 days old. Luckily, after hospital care and treatment, Ella being a fighter,( as well as being a monkey!),is back home with her parents and brother.

Must also mention my dear ' MPS1 Hurler' friend Isaac (now aged 12) who, a couple of years ago, had us all so scared and upset when in a coma due to menigitis ,but in his true fighting form, after medical care, bounced back to his cheeky, talkative self!

I would just like to add we went to Isaacs 13th birthday party on Friday...and it great to see him so well and happy :)

I also have another close friend, of 20+ years, who had the illness as a baby and fully recovered but sadly her husbands brother died of meningitis...

Please send in donations to raise £ to develop treatments, and support for people affected by this sad and dreadful illness...

Money will also influence and encourage my training over the dark, cold winter months!!
