Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime

I'm Running 50 Miles in October in honour of my dad who sadly passed away 23rd sept 24. His battle started with prostate back a few years ago, he had radio therapy for this and got the all clear. Sadly June 21st 2024 we had the devastating call he had now got Liver cancer and was terminal they gave him a few months. He taught for his life but sadly fell asleep one last time. After his 1st cancer he told doctors time and time again he was in pain but was told it’s ok it’s the aftermath of radiotherapy and you cancer. He was told he would have to live with this. He did not give in he knew something was wrong they finally scanned him only to be told sorry there is nothing we can do.

Im hoping to raise money for research and treatment. More staff even. Early scanning everyone knows there own body and you should always listen to it

So my dads cancer journey started with prostate so for this I am taking on this challenge
