On 11th July I'm going to run 10k for Diabetes UK, even if it kills me, but if every person who receives this email sponsors me just £3 then I will reach my target!  Before I go (and I'd like to thank you all in advance incase I don't make it) here are some excellent reasons to sponsor me to do this dreadful, painful thing..

1) I will look ridiculous - well worth £3!

2) £3 - it's cheaper than a pint!  (In this town anyway..)

3) The 'feel good factor' - hey! this could be your good deed for the day - and it's a bargain at just £3!

4) It's for charity and its only £3!

5) If everyone does sponsor me £3 then I promise NOT to write a blog and go on and on about my personal struggles and bore everyone to tears about it.  Money well spent my friends!

6) Because I can run faster than a domestic cat,

and,

7) Because in the UK one person is diagnosed with diabetes now every 3 minutes...
