<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; line-height: 140%;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 140%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.<br /><br />In 2009 my eyes were opened to the horrible illness that is Cancer when my Mum was diagnosed. Since, I have witnessed family members and good friends be diagnosed and are currently battling with cancer. <br /></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 140%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br />On Monday 4<sup>th</sup> January 2010, Elise Roberts who was a leader at the company I work for (Barclays) was also diagnosed with cancer. During her illness, Elise set up <span style="color: #0000ff;"><a href="http://www.eliseforlife.org/">www.eliseforlife.org</a> </span>with the aim of raising £1m for The Christie, however on Sunday 3<sup>rd</sup> October 2010 Elise sadly passed away. I am determined to help Elise raise the much needed funds for The Christie who continue to care for Cancer Patients, which is why this year in October 2011 I will be participating in the single largest fundraising event in The Christie's history when 120 Barclays colleagues, Friends and Elise's family walk the Great Wall of China.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Here’s where I need everybody’s support to donate anything you are able to, however small, and help us to reach – and exceed – our target and ensure that Elise, and every person ever affected with this awful illness’ legacies live on. I will be contributing towards the cost of the Trek itself and The Christie will be covering the cost of the expedition from sponsorship raised.</span></p>
