Our daughter Syvlie was born earlier this year at 25 weeks gestation.

She battled as hard as she could, but she could not make it through intensive care, and died in our arms. Our hopes and dreams have been shattered by Sylvie's death.

We love Sylvie so much and she was so beautiful. We enjoyed our ever so short time with her, even if it was punctuated by learning of all her illnesses.

Tommy's is a charity that does great things to help research into premature birth. Hopefully in the future fewer parents will have to lose their precious loved ones.
