Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. With your help, we can build a safer world for children. unicef.org.uk

Story

I couldn't resist signing up for an open water swim challenge at the Château de Chantilly in France, which I knew as Bond villain Max Zorin's home in A View to a Kill.

I'll be swimming 2.5km, which isn't a distance I've attempted before, in the beautiful castle grounds on Sunday 29 August.

I've chosen to support Unicef because Sir Roger Moore was an ambassador and fundraiser for the charity for many years. A little thank you for all the pleasure James Bond has given me.

I am fully vaccinated and will make every effort to travel to France for this event, but if it's just not possible, I'll swim the equivalent distance in the UK.
