The Rainbow Trust is an English charity that provides emotional and practical support direct to families who have a child aged 0-18 with a life threatening or terminal illness. They now support over 1,600 families each year through their teams of Family Support Workers based around the country, providing a truly unique service for the whole family. It is the only organisation to care for families from diagnosis, during treatment and if needed, through end of life care, bereavement and beyond. Their support is not available elsewhere.

The Rainbow Trust has been running for almost 30 years and although it has already helped thousands of families, three out of four families in England still face caring for their seriously ill children alone. The charity is on a mission to help every family with a child who has a life threatening or terminal illness. The charity’s receives less than 5% statutory funding, therefore relies on fundraising from events such as ours. Having visited the charity earlier this year, we know how many lives we can change and help, here in our local community, and cannot wait to get fundraising!
