The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Hello! I'm Shaun, and I'll be slowly going mad on stream as I run four games straight of D&D, all to help Macmillan Cancer Support!

Assembled Adventurers in: Myth Drannor - Warsong of Descent will be a live 24 hour stream of D&D, hosted at www.twitch.tv/assembledadventurers from 18:00 on Friday the 30th of August, right through to 18:00 on Saturday the 31st of August (GMT +1).

Do you wish to shape the world? To help or hinder the players as they trudge through the wild and dangerous ruins of Myth Drannor? This is the place where you can directly affect the game!

Donation Effects:

£1 - Activate the Pig of Peace or Pig of War effect (and give a treat to the relevant guinea pig!) (Please type "Peace" or "War" in your comment)
£2 - Give any player, or the DM, a re-roll to use during their game (please comment "Reroll - Name" with your donation).
£Any - Add an effect into the random effect deck! (Please put whatever effect or situation you would like to add in the donation comment. Further details on this are given below)
Any donation of £5+ - Triggers an immediate draw from the random effect deck!

Alongside the game, there will be a random deck of effects. These may be situations that affect single party members ("Someone gets hit by a rock! 2d8 damage!"), the party, or the monsters and environment ("Everyone gets a +1 longsword, including the trees!"). You can be as imaginative as you like for these effects! Any effect drawn will be read aloud by myself, alongside thanking you for your donation, and then will be implemented into the game. This may result in some crazy improvisation as the players (and or myself) will have to play around the new situation!

For any donation you give, please write an effect you want to see play out in your donation comment. You may be as vague or as specific as you like! That effect will be added to a deck which can be triggered by donations. The more you donate, the more likely that effect will be drawn!

In addition, you can trigger a draw from the deck of effects! A donation of £5 or higher will trigger a roll. Donations made before the game will trigger rolls at random times during the games (which I will read out and thank you for on stream), while donations made during the game will trigger a draw immediately.

Please note that any effects that may immediately end the game (such as "everyone immediately dies, no save") may be altered by the DM to ensure the entertainment continues (in this scenario, for instance, the characters may die and then wake up in hell). Effects that are deemed inappropriate for a live stream will be ignored (though we will still happily accept your charity =D ).

If you're not sure on what to suggest, here's a few previous examples:
"An enemy that starts every action by announcing its name followed by the action in a dramatic third person flair."
"Everything will turn to rust!"
"Here's Kevin!"

Instead of giving an effect, you may choose to give a player (or the DM, if you choose) a re-roll to spend at any point during their game. Just put as the comment for your donation "Reroll - Jimmy" (player or character name is fine).

Finally, if you don't want to cause a random effect, any donations just to sponsor my attempt at running four games of D&D live across this length of time would be greatly appreciated. =)

Or if you prefer, you can help any of the players by donating to their individual pages! You can find them all as part of our combined team!

Thank you very much for helping with this event of ours! We look forward to putting on our game for you all! Cancer affects so many of us, either directly or indirectly, and your donations really do help to support them. Macmillan Cancer Support is there to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. And we're happy to do whatever we can to help them help others!
