Winter is harsh in Palestine. Plummeting temperatures, heavy rains and flooding characterise the bitter season. Displaced and unemployed parents struggle to keep their children warm, dry and fed. And now, with COVID-19 cases rising exponentially, winter has brought unimaginable suffering. Gaza has experienced a staggering 40,000 cases since August, and the virus continues to spread in the most populated place on earth. The year could not get any worse for 2 million Palestinians living in Gaza.

£100 Winter Family Emergency Kit will provide a vulnerable family in Gaza with jackets, socks, hats and scarves, woolly jumpers, and pyjamas to keep their children warm this winter.

Thanks to your support, Human Appeal has been providing emergency winter aid in Gaza for 30 years. Last year alone, we provided warm winter clothing to over 4,000 people in Palestine.

This winter, we’re providing 1,399 vulnerable children in the Gaza Strip with warm winter clothing, helping to ease the burden on overstretched families. Distributed by our teams in a COVID-safe way, these vital winter kits will keep children warm and comfortable, while enabling families to spend their limited income on other essentials like food.
