Story
I'm doing 100 push-ups a day in November in support of Mind, to ensure they can continue their work and fight for mental health.
Mental health is not always visible, and it certainly isn’t always easy to talk about. I believe that checking in, holding space for others to open up, and having proper support can make a true and lasting difference.
Every push-up is symbolic, a small reminder to keep going, even on the days when it feels harder than usual. Luckily for me, I’ll have 100 of those reminders every day(!)
Through this challenge, I am raising funds for the very important Mind Charity to help ensure more people can get the Mental Health support they need, when they might need it. Every £11 raised can help Mind’s Infoline answer one enquiry, and £110 could help make sure 10 people in urgent need can speak to a helpline advisor.
If you can donate, please do. Whether you do or don’t, please share this, or simply use it as a reminder just check in on someone who is going through something today- it all counts.
Thank you in advance for your support and let’s do better to support one another, in whatever small ways we can.
