Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Fran and I were brought up surrounded by the British Armed Forces: our fathers both served (although mine now retired!) in the Army. We have been fortunate enough to have met, and lived amongst, some of the most extraordinary people imaginable. And as a result we have decided to dedicate our Cardiff Half Marathon run to Help for Heroes: and hopefully (legs willing!) future marathons too!!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Although the name of our page is a bit of running banter (we had to inspire your attention somehow!) our cause is very serious.
This page is dedicated to Help For Heroes;
Our mission is to deliver an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families. We will inspire and enable those who have made sacrifices on our behalf to achieve their full potential.

For more detailed information on our charity, check out the H4H website at: http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/
Our fundraising is in memory of all those we have had the privelege of meeting, and to those who may need support in the future.
So please DIG DEEP and donate now!
If you have any spare time and fancy a good ol' laugh, sit back, enjoy our journey from the comfort of your armchair, and keep updated on our progress at our blog:
Every donation is a step towards helping those who need, and deserve our support. So we thank you all for your time and support :)
Lots of Heroes love,
(the better runner of the scrambled legs duo!)
UPDATE: unfortunately Fran will no longer be running, as a dedicated Nurse Duty calls. However, as a glutton for punishment, I'll still be running my little legs off for the both of us!! So please, please, DONATE. #beAHerotoday
