I will be setting off from the Welsh border at Haye on Wye on 2nd August and continuing to the Severn Estuary (not sure how to cross that bit yet! any help available?) and then up the Avon from Bristol to near its source. I will then have a 7 mile hike to the start of the Thames where I will continue to Oxford by 13th August. 

The reason for this adventure is not only to indulge in my favourite past time but also to stand with my Aunt Gloria who is battling a very nasty brain tumour and raise as much money as possible to support research into cures for brain tumours.
