Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

I will be setting off from the Welsh border at Haye on Wye on 2nd August and continuing to the Severn Estuary (not sure how to cross that bit yet! any help available?) and then up the Avon from Bristol to near its source. I will then have a 7 mile hike to the start of the Thames where I will continue to Oxford by 13th August.

The reason for this adventure is not only to indulge in my favourite past time but also to stand with my Aunt Gloria who is battling a very nasty brain tumour and raise as much money as possible to support research into cures for brain tumours. Please donate and help this cause and encourage me to keep paddling. Please come and join me for a day if you have a board and fancy a challenge.
