Belfast to Dublin Bike Ride · 23 June 2017 ·

Our vision is underpinned by the desire to be a church ‘in the community, for the community’, and to love and serve those living and working around us in every way possible, regardless of their nationality, race, religion, social status or ability.

Story

I'm teaming up with Lucy, Joe and Adrian for a bike ride from Mount Merrion Parish (Belfast) to Mount Merrion Parish (Dublin); a distance of about 115 miles. We are all probably mad and will definitely end up walking like cowboys and girls for weeks after ... but it's all for some good causes.

All money raised will be split 3 ways:
1. The neo-natal unit at the Ulster Hospital in memory of little Jessica Campbell.
2. No More Traffik; (a charity that seeks to end the global sex trafficking trade)
3. Mount Merrion building fund (to help cover the costs of urgent structural repairs to our premises)

To stop any of the team, (especially me), trying to find an excuse to back out, it would be good if people could donate to this cause. This can be done now by texting BIKE22 followed by a space and then the amount you wish to donate, to 70070.

You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10.

As an example, to donate £10, you would text the following to 70070: BIKE22 £10

You may be charged for your text message. Please refer to your network operator’s standard rates.
The church is registered with the Northern Ireland Charity Commission: NIC102093
