Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and support my debut on the marathon circuit. As a man now in my thirties, I'm in full denial of my declining athletic prowess and so have of course whole heartedly jumped at the prospect of a 42 kilometre run. Let's go!!
The hard work starts here for me but it never stops for the brilliant staff at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital (GOSH). It would be amazing if you could make any small donation to help support the amazing cause that I am fundraising for. This year all money raised for GOSH will go towards the development of new cancer care facilities at the hospital.
Every day brings new challenges at GOSH. Every day, around 600 seriously ill children arrive at GOSH from all over the UK. Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses. Every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs that change the lives of thousands of children – and change the world.
Despite the greatest challenges a child can face, the hospital is a place where being sick does not always mean being sad. And it’s a place where you’ll find – today and every day – some of the bravest people you could ever meet.
Thanks for your support!
