The Objects of the charity is to relieve, promote and protect the health and rehabilitate leaving and former members of His Majesty’s MOD/Emergency Services affected by physical wounds and post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from service life for the benefit that are exclusively charitable.

Story

I have the pleasure of, taking part in an amazing endurance event, both mentally and physically, to raise money for a great cuase, which I have seen many friends suffer from.

I was recently contacted by a good friend of mine (James Mazzoni-Dalton) CIO of the Yompathon, who asked if I would like to take part in an amazing endurance event to raise money for mental health across all of the emergency services.

Needless to say, I immediately agreed. The event it's self takes 45 days travelling the length and breath of the country, on foot covering over 3000 miles and carrying 25Kg in weight

The event is broken down into several legs across the country. I will be taking part in leg 29 (8 mile in 2 hours with 25 Kg) from HMS Raleigh in Torpoint Cornwall. The team will then be carrying on to HMS Culdrose.

Please take a look at the Yompathon website and share with others who you may think could have been affected with mental health issues whilst serving or after they have left the services.
