Story

I have decided to run the Great North Run Half Marathon 2023 to help raise money for the MS Trust. I have chosen this charity due to my brother and two sisters being diagnosed with MS.

When they have their bad days, there really isn’t much I can do so I am hoping that with the donations I am raising through this effort, I can help their treatments so their bad days are less often.

The MS Trust is committed to ensuring everyone with MS can access the treatments and services they need and deserve. We aim to represent and reach all people affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis throughout their journey. Your support will allow the MS Trust to continue to train health professionals. Approximately 103,688 people with MS live in areas where there are not enough MS nurses to look after everyone. So, The MS Trust are working with the NHS to fund new MS nurses in the areas that need them most and ensure people with MS have the care and support they need.

Any donation is massively appreciated! I know there will be a tonne of different fundraising events around this time of year so whatever you can give is huge!

Thank you!
