This June I will be trekking 13 miles through the beautiful Lake District countryside in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. This is a cause that is very close to my heart and which does great work in supporting those impacted by the disease and their families. 

Alzheimer's will affect 1 in 6 people and whilst research into the disease has made good strides in recent years, further research will hopefully help deliver improved understanding of the causes, new and improved treatments, as well as increased awareness.
