I am doing this run with my friend and coworker, Jim, because I've never done a marathon before.  One of my favorite teachers as well as a family friend both have Parkinson's disease.  I have seen what this degenerative disease does, and I hope that by raising money to fund research that a cure will be found.  Thank you for supporting me!
