Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Amos Bursary is a charity that was set up to address the under representation in higher education institutions and the workforce, of young British men of African and Caribbean descent. They provide support to ensure that each student moves from potential to performance.

They work with sponsors, strategic partners, volunteers and supporters to deliver
unique opportunities and leadership programmes for students, developing their
social and commercial skills, and offering life changing experiences. Their
mentoring scheme ensures that each student has individual access to a peer and
professional mentor for the duration of their time on the Bursary.

The Amos Bursary have recently launched a campaign to raise £1M in one year, to
ensure the longevity of the Bursary for the next five years.

As part of the #AB1Million campaign a number of us Amos Bursary students, alumnus and supporters are riding 46 miles as part of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46.

Prudential RideLondon has been named the world's greatest festival of cycling. This years’ edition will take place over the weekend of 3-4 August 2019.

We'd really appreciate any contribution in support of our efforts.
