Row Britannia is an inclusive (adaptive sport) mental health, fitness and wellbeing challenge for teams throughout the UK to raise vital funds and positive awareness between 12th November 2019 and 13th March 2020.

Story

Row Britannia is a team 2020 mile indoor rowing challenge, to be completed between 12th November 2019 and 6th June 2020, to raise funds for for Sport Relief, a charity working to promote mental health and wellbeing for all.

We took up the challenge late in the game after getting the news that our Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race this year was cancelled. We scattered home, disappointed, with our ergs. In this time of continued uncertainty, mental health is more important to us than ever. This challenge is something to look forward to, giving us motivation to train together remotely, while contributing to a great cause!

The Row Britannia challenge will raise vital funds for its charity partners, as well as spreading positive awareness of mental health, fitness, and wellbeing. Please contribute whatever you can to this fantastic cause as we rally to the challenge of hitting the mileage goal. Over 3,000,000 meters may seem like a lot, but with the numbers and fitness of Cambridge University Rowing behind us, it will go quick!
