SpecialEffect is a UK based charity which uses video games and technology to enhance the quality of life for gamers across the world. I have been a huge supporter of SE for many years now and am incredibly honoured to be an Ambassador for this amazing charity.

In recent years, a lot of people have realised just how important it is to be able to have access to gaming and online social communities - with this in mind, please consider supporting this wonderful cause! 

The 10K is SpecialEffect's longest standing fundraising event, and back in the day a hard core of games industry professionals made something of a name for themselves by completing the race dressed as their favourite video games characters - a tradition that has continued to this day! As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic social distancing measures, SpecialEffect are supporting a virtual option for this event for the fourth year running. 

I will be partaking in this 10k on Sunday the 9th of July the with my lovely corgi to raise money for SpecialEffect!
