We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Hi everyone, I have decided to run the Edinburgh Marathon, i have never run a marathon before, infact i've never even run a competitive race before but when i do something i like to do it to the extreme!! I've been training hard and i hope to do a reasonable time. One thing that has kept me going and that will keep me going on the day is the charity i have chosen to run for...... As most of you know Ben and all of his 2nd Duke of Lancaster colleagues are off to Afghanistan this month and I can think of no better charity to raise money for than the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) also called the "soldiers charity". They give lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. Our Soldiers risk so much for us and i'd like to give something back and i'd like my friends and family to support me to support them.

Thank you.
