Story
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year we supported more than 1,400 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
Anita Cooke (my Nan) was brought to Myton Hospice when she was diagnosed as being terminally ill. The workers at the hospice constantly provided Anita with support by making sure she was always comfortable, offering massages and treatments with aromatherapy, and cheering her up with lots of conversation. Not only this, but the hospice also consistently supported the family during this time.
I am raising money for Coventry Myton Hospice so that they can continue to provide this incredible care for many more patients and to support the workers whom make such a difference. Thank you for donating!
