I'm running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon in October this year to support Alzheimer's Research UK.

Millions of people are impacted by dementia, not only those who suffer from it, but the families, friends, and support networks who care for and love those people.

It's a disease that has affected too many family and friends of mine, and has recently reached even closer to home, making me all the more determined to raise as much money as possible. The money raised will help fund the research, which could lead to breakthroughs in how dementia is understood and treated.
