Founded in 2016 by two former serving soldiers, Calum MacLeod and Colin Maclachlan, Who Dares Cares has a team of volunteers committed to supporting our Armed Forces and Blue Light Services personnel, including their families, who are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Story

On the 1st February this year we unexpectedly lost my father Dan Laidlaw. This has been a massively tough time for my family, his friends and everybody who knew him. Unknown to a lot of people my dad suffered from PTSD which is why we want to raise money for Who Dares Cares, a charity who help army veterans and support them through hard times.

On the 30th April we will be walking up Pen Y Fan, a place which meant a lot to my dad and somewhere he spent lots of time whilst in the army.

My sister Hannah will be completing the walk with a Bergen of 25kg similar to the weight used in training by the army and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
