London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know in April 2020 I was due to run London Marathon in memory of my Pops. However, COVID-19 had other plans and although I'd managed to get up to 20 miles in my training program the marathon was cancelled. I then postponed my place from last year due to being pregnant. Now my little one is 4 months and the marathon is under 2 months away.

I haven't been able to commit to an intense training programme but I am keen to do the distance and raise money in memory of my Pops 💙. Therefore I plan to walk the miles, make memories and maybe make some new friends and get to know some new people along the way!

Since April 2020 the original fundraising page has been closed and my fundraising will continue on this page.

Thank you to every person who has already sponsored me and helped with fundraising, previous marathon training and just supported both myself and my family through difficult times. A big shout out to Michelle Gadsden who ran the marathon last year in memory of Pops, you smashed it!
